Supriyo Datta - Engineering and Technology History Wiki.

Dr. Supriyo Datta is a leading figure in the modeling and understanding of nano-scale electronic conduction. With Mark Lundstrom, he has pioneered electronic-flow prediction in ultrasmall devices. His early work laid the foundation for quantum-transport simulation tools based on the non-equilibrium Greens function formalism.

Supriyo Datta. received his B.Tech. from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur in 1975 and his M.S. and Ph.D. from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 1977 and 1979 working on ultrasonics. In 1981 he joined Purdue University and started work on nanoscale electronic devices.
